A cable take-up device has a part fixed on a guide part and a lengthwise-changing part, carried on the guide-part with a tractive force for changing the length, and around which the cable is looped from its end fixed on the cable take-up device for connection to the power source, to the end for connecting to the appliance. A central roller (6) is inclined/sloped for bridging the spacing between the pairs of rollers, and the movable cable take-up part has n +1 rollers in two groups (10-12;13-15) and the fixed take-up part has n rollers (4-8) on identical axes on either side of the sloping/inclined roller (6), and the axes of the rollers (10-12;13-15) of the movable take-up part lie in one point in the center of the axial lengths and are turned sufficiently out of the longitudinal axis, so that they exactly line-up with the cable in-flow- and out-flow-points of the peripheral grooves on the rollers (4-8) of the fixed cable take-up part.
