Small scale production of biomethanol diesel from rapeseed oil includes washing freshly expressed oil with methanol before catalytic ester exchange

In the production of biomethanol diesel from rapeseed oil in relatively small amounts by catalytic ester exchange in a microreactor cascade, the freshly expressed oil is washed twice with methanol, before actual ester exchange in the cascade, so that acid numbers at most 0.1 are attained.
