The lubricating system uses rotor elements loaded by lubricant to generate a lubricating oil stream. These rotor elements are mounted fixed relative to the rotor (12a) whilst the stator (13a) is mounted fixed relative to the gear housing (16). The stator communicates with a collecting chamber (18) of the gear housing for the lubricant mounted above the oil sump (15). A delivery device (19) driven directly or indirectly through the distributor gear delivers lubricant from the oil sump into the collecting chamber. The housing of the stator and the gear housing can be formed as one piece.
