Use of the following is claimed in the production of a medicament for treating Parkinson's disease: (a) nefazodone (I) or its salts: (b) trazodone (II) or its salts plus (I) or its salts, or (c) cetirizine (III) or its salts. An independent claim is included for a pharmaceutical active agent combination for treating Parkinson's disease, which comprises (I) (or its salts), (II) (or its salts) and optionally at least one antihistamine (specifically (III) or its salts), for simultaneous, separate or sequential administration. ACTIVITY : Antiparkinsonian; Antidepressant; Antiallergic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
