Long vehicle has a front longitudinal frame part (4) which rotates opposite a further longitudinal frame part (6) in the longitudinal axis direction of a longitudinal frame (2) relative about a determined angle from a middle position to both sides. The further longitudinal frame part has a front tunnel-like section in which a rear section of the front longitudinal frame part rotates about the longitudinal axis and is prevented from being removed. An independent claim is also included for a rack and pinion gear. Preferred Features: The tunnel-like section has a rectangular cross-section with a horizontal width extension and a vertical height extension. The rear section of the front longitudinal frame part has a rhomboidal or eight-sided shape with rounded corners in the horizontal and vertical.
