Process for recovering highly concentrated ethanol solutions from low concentrated ethanol solutions comprises evaporating a low concentrated ethanol solution by introducing energy below 95 %, removing the vapor produced by introducing energy again and by rectifying into an ethanol-rich liquid phase and an enriched liquid phase. The ethanol-rich vapor phase (ethanol/water vapor) is compressed using a compressor operated by a wind stream, is used as heating agent for the introduction of energy for the evaporation and rectification, and is condensed.
