The motor vehicle trailer comprises a body (2), chassis (3), and front and rear axles, the wheels (4) of which are connected to the chassis by pneumatic springs to allow jounce and rebound. A drawbar (9) is rigidly installed on the chassis. A compressed air adjustment device is provided for adjusting the drawbar load by adjusting the air pressure in the pneumatic springs of one axle in relation to the air pressure in the pneumatic springs of the other axle. A compressed air supply is connected to the pneumatic springs via an adjustable pressure reducing valve in each case.
