An electronic calculator has an input- or operator-panel and a display. Over the input- or operator-panel (1), pre-generated tabular lists on the basis of table calculation software can be individually polled and read from the display (2). The lists are continually completed with variable values and/or are expandable, in which according to the input and after conclusion of the computer operations by means of the tabular calculation software, a result is shown as a summed or otherwise ascertained computer value.
