The essentially U-form fixing clamp (1) has one or more inner catches (10) pressed out from the leg (6) of the U adjacent to a baseplate (2) so that a hole framed by the material of the leg is formed in the leg. From the leg (7) of the U furthest from the baseplate are formed outer catches (9) as bends of the leg edge on the insertion opening side and which, conforming to the direction of the inner catches, are orientated in mirror image fashion, whereby at least one locking pawl on its free end has a toothed edge.
