The pastry server has a support face (1) made of a flat plate and designed for multi-layer gateaux and cakes. The inside coming into contact with the pastry is smooth. A flat narrow base plate (2) is connected to the support face at an angle so that the side of the base plate facing the cake serves as a support for the gateaux server. A flat holding plate (3) runs down above the base plate at the right or left side of the support face. A handle (4) of variable design is provided on the left or right side of the support face. The support face, base plate, holding plate, support part and handle can be made as loose items for push-fit connection.
