The invention relates to an edge-banding machine used for machining plate-shaped workpieces (15), such as castor plates which are stationary at machining site. Said machine can be moved along at least one flat edge of the workpieces (15),on which an edge strip (16) is to be glued. A glue application cylinder (6), a draw-in roller (7) and counter-rollers (20,22) guiding the edge strip (16) are arranged parallel to the axis of the pressure roller (3) and tangential to the feed direction of the pressure roller (16). The invention aims to adapt said machine to different pressure roller diameters To this end, each pressure roller (3) can be exchanged for one with a different diameter; wherein all pressure rollers (3) can be placed in a coaxial position on the frame (1) of the machine during use thereof.
