The rabbit installation comprises breeding cages (2) located above a pit (1) for recovery of excretions. A scraper (6) travels over the pit bottom (3) in order to eliminate the excretions. The pit bottom has a transverse section causing gravity flow of liquid in the direction of a calibrated flow opening (4) for separating solid and liquid materials. An Independent claim is included for a scraper for the installation.
