The hinge system for two panels (2, 3) comprises a flexible strip (4) of the same length as the panels whose width corresponds to the sum of their depths. This is glued to the edges of the panels and allows them to swivel with respect to each other. An Independent claim is included for a method for assembling panels using the strip.
