Filling equipment associated with a system for automatic shut-off on contact with a liquid is characterized by an assembly comprising a filling device consisting of a manual flap gate (4) having a nose section submerging into the container to be filled. The assembly includes a chamber incorporating an instrument for operation of a lever (3) that controls opening or closing of the flap gate. Automatic opening of the flap gate is enabled by closure of a reed contact (7). Closure of the reed contact (7) is caused by the action of a magnetic bar contained in a float (8) which moves in a welded tube inside the nose section.
