The device has a non-linear system (11) to receive a signal (13) through an incoming path (14) and a noise (12) coming from a source through one of two incoming paths. The system receives a noise (15) through the incoming paths and correlates the noises with each other. A lever (19) adjusts potential between two possible states of the system. The noise frequency is lower than the incoming signal frequency to which it is added. An Independent claim is also included for an application of the signal detecting device.
