A representation of the place is obtained by combining location photographs of architectural features with photographs of the materials used such as stone, brick and paving. Objects within the place are digitized from photographs taken on site or scanning catalogues or from existing compact disks. The digital representations of place and objects are combined on a compact disk suitable for reading on a personal computer
