摘要
Sintering of composite tungsten-copper material, without re-sweating of the copper, comprises: (a) maintaining composite tungsten-copper material prepared by compacting composite powder for 0.5 to 10 hours at 800 to 1083 degreesC (without attaining 1083 degreesC) under reducing atmosphere; (b) increasing temperature to 1200 to 1400 degreesC, the copper liquidus temperature, before cooling without any soaking time. Sintering of a composite tungsten-copper (W-Cu) material, without the re-sweating of the copper, comprises: (a) maintaining a composite W-Cu material prepared by compacting a composite W-Cu powder during a period of 0.5 to 10 hours at a temperature of 800 to 1083 degreesC (without attaining 1083 degreesC), this being a temperature interval for solid phase Cu, under a reducing atmosphere; (b) increasing the temperature to 1200 to 1400 degreesC, the copper liquidus temperature, before cooling without any soaking time.
