The handcuff has bracelet, whose one half is located on a circular part of its extreme border. A locking rack and another half bracelet, connected by a linking gauge (7), are connected to the former half bracelet by two wheel discs. The linking gauge has a locking mechanism including a teethed pawl corresponding to the locking rack. An elastic unit applies force to two unitary pawls (27, 28) independently.
