The device consists of a kinematic connection allowing movement between counterweights (C) constituting a moving part and a front axle (Ta) of a tractor (T) constituting a fixed part. The movement is controlled by a damping unit. The device is located between the front axle and the counterweights. One of two linking plates constituting the device is fixed to the front axle, and the other is fixed to a support unit of the counterweights.
