The binding has electronic evaluation devices (13,14) provided in both a toe binding and a heel binding with respective sensors (15,16) to detect set safety release values of the binding. A display displays respective values or states of the toe binding or heel binding. The evaluation device (14) is connected to a sensor for checking a clamping pressure of a slip-on spring system of the heel binding relative to a ski shoe.
