The process involves analyzing queries received by a terminal to determine type and number of tasks to execute as well as external constraints imposed by multi-mode context. A motive of temporal windows of measurement is generated according to result of the analysis. A sequencing module of active radio access technologies determines the windows available during a predetermined period from the analysis of the queries. An independent claim is also included for a global system for mobile telecommunication/universal mobile telecommunication system bi-mode mobile terminal comprising software architecture.
