Electrical interrupter for circuit breaker, has polarizing circuit selectively applying polarization voltage between gate and source of each of two MOSFETs for simultaneously placing MOSFETs in unblocking/blocking state
The interrupter has an active branch (B1) with two MOSFETs (T11, T12), where each MOSFET includes a drain (d11, d12), a source (s11, s12) and a gate (g11, g12) and each MOSFET is connected by the respective sources. A polarizing circuit selectively applies a polarization voltage (Vgs) between the gate and source of each MOSFET for simultaneously placing the MOSFETs in an unblocking state or in a blocking state. An independent claim is also included for a circuit breaker.
