PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex series type tuned mass damper, in such structure that the whole vertical size is reduced while securing support stability of each damping mass.;SOLUTION: A first damping mass 3 is installed on the side of an object 12 through a first plate spring 5, and a second damping mass 4 is installed onto the first mass 3 through a second plate spring for damping horizontal vibration of the object 12 in this multiplex series type tuned mass damper 1.
