PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stain prevention-corrosion prevention device for a metal structure where initial construction cost is reduced, and stain prevention and corrosion prevention can be performed to a plurality of adjoining metal structures.;SOLUTION: In the stain prevention-corrosion prevention apparatus 10 for a metal structure provided with: a reference electrode 1 placed in seawater and having a known electric potential in accordance with the substance to be used in the seawater; an anode electrode 2 placed in the seawater; a metal structure 3 as the object for stain prevention and corrosion prevention placed in the seawater; and a commercial power device 4 connected to the reference electrode 1 and the anode electrode 2, making the electric potential of the anode electrode 2 to the relatively high one and the electric potential of the metal structure 3 to the relatively low one, and further, based on the electric potential of the reference electrode 1, making the electric potential of the metal structure 3 to the one capable of corrosion prevention, an adjoining metal structure 5 placed in the seawater in the vicinity of the metal structure 3 is connected with the commercial power device 4 via a resistance 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
