PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing environmental disruption by discharging cooling water waste water of lower water temperature than sea water temperature in summer, at the end of spring and at the beginning of autumn with the high degree of environmental disruption by using deep water of low water temperature (about 10°C) for the cooling water of a large electric power plant, a petroleum factory, a petrochemical factory, or the like discharging a large amount of warm waste water to the vicinity of the coastline to raise the seawater temperature.;SOLUTION: In this system, deep water is pumped from a deep layer by a bubble lift pump or an extended shaft vertical centrifugal pump installed at the waterside, via sea bottom piping and discharged into an existing seawater intake pool. As secondary return, an increase (about 1%) in the amount of power generation, and the improvement of product yield in the petroleum factory and petrochemical factory can be attained although very small respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
