PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedometer for pregnant women for displaying the appropriate number of steps, action steps, lacks in action steps, the achievement rate, advice, etc. in a display part, allowing a pregnant woman to appropriately consume calories by walking according to the contents displayed on the display part, and capable of appropriately and easily managing the calories to be taken and consumed in view of the weight increase and health of the pregnant woman during the pregnancy. PSOLUTION: The pedometer for pregnant women comprises a means of acquiring factors related to accumulation of fat, a means of acquiring an elapsed period of time after impregnated, a means of acquiring the number of action steps, an action consumption energy calculation means for calculating the action consumption energy generated from the acquired action steps, an appropriate consumption energy memory means for storing appropriate consumption energy, a comparison/evaluation means, and a comparison/evaluation result outputting means for outputting the result of comparison and evaluation by the comparison/evaluation means. The comparison/evaluation means compares and evaluates the action consumption energy calculated by the action consumption energy calculation means and the corresponding appropriate consumption energy stored in the appropriate consumption energy memory means. Since the appropriate number of steps, action steps, lacks in action steps, the achievement rate, advice, etc. are displayed in the display part, calories can be consumed appropriately by walking according to the contents displayed in the display part, and taking or consumption of calories can be appropriately and easily managed in view of the weight increase and health of the pregnant woman during the pregnancy.
