PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination device capable of sampling a liquid to be examined from a container to perform predetermined examination before again returning the same to the container. PSOLUTION: The examination device 1 is constituted so that the liquid to be examined is sucked and sampled into an examination flow channel 5 by sucking operation of a pump (p) through a liquid sampling pipe 3, the liquid to be examined sampled into the examination part 5a in the examination flow channel is subjected to predetermined examination and the pump (p) is reversed to return the liquid to be examined in the liquid sampling flow channel, which is composed of the liquid sampling pipe 3, the examination flow channel and a buffer flow channel 7, to the container 2.
