PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sensitivity of cancer cells which originally have a low sensitivity to the irradiation of a radiation by a pre-treatment with a histon deacethylation enzyme inhibitor, and thereby providing a new radiation sensitizer.;SOLUTION: The enhancement of apoptosis caused by the irradiation of the radiation by pre-treating cancer cells with the histon deacethylation enzyme acting by a different mechanism from that of conventional anti-cancer agents depending on cell division is ascertained.
