PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly distribute a delivery hose in a position shut off from an engine while shutting out engine noises by a partition wall erected on a rotating frame.;SOLUTION: In this small shovel, an upper structure is rotatably mounted on a lower structure, and the engine is disposed at a rear part of the upper structure in a state of its drive shaft being oriented in a lateral direction. A hydraulic pump 9 is connected to the drive shaft, and sound insulating plates are erected on the front side of the engine over the vehicle width. A step part is provided at the sound insulating plates 20, 23 near the hydraulic pump to form a backward displaced state from the top view. A partition plate 25 in a longitudinal direction at the step part is provided with through holes, and pipelines 13 extending from the hydraulic pump 9 and communicating with hydraulic apparatus arranged on the outer peripheral side of the upper structure on the opposite side of the hydraulic pump 9 are laterally inserted through the through holes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
