PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dissociation of sample molecule ions by preventing focusing of laser light into an ionization zone, and to thereby remove a bad influence on detection sensitivity.;SOLUTION: A reaction efficiency between sample molecules and the laser light is improved by the laser light concentrated into the ionization zone Z by a multiple reflection device 18 of the laser light. The sectional area of the laser light concentrated into the ionization zone Z is large, and thereby the reaction efficiency with the sample molecules is improved together by an irradiation time elongation effect by multiple reflection of the laser light between mirror sets 1, 2. Since, in the ionization zone Z, the laser light of parallel beams is concentrated and the focal point F of the laser light of convergent beams is not included, the photon density is not raised excessively, and the sample molecule ions are not dissociated, to thereby exert no bad influence on the detection sensitivity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
