PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing the egg laying of Lyctus brunnes in para-wood material which is different from a treatment method applied since the development of the para-wood material.;SOLUTION: In the method for suppressing the egg laying of Lyctus brunnes in the para-wood material, after the para-wood material is sawed into a raw plate having a proper thickness, the raw plate, without being pressure-impregnated with antiseptic and insect-proofing agents, is supplied into an artificial drying chamber, dried at 80-90°C to a wood initial water content of 12%, and heat-treated at 190°C for 2.5 h to suppress the egg laying of Lyctus brunneus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
