PRESENT SITUATIONS OF UNSOLICITED E-MAIL IN MAILING SERVICES FOR PORTABLE TELEPHONE AND FUTURE METHOD FOR PREVENTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that numbers of unsolicited e-mails are sent to portable telephone at present with no sign of its decrease and to eliminate all the unsolicited e-mails by meeting all the conditions that extra packet (fees) by receiving the unsolicited e-mails is not charged, real time e-mail distribution to the portable telephone is not damaged and a great influence is not given on present services and by taking into account measures to be taken when configurations of the unsolicited e-mails are to become diversified in the future.;SOLUTION: When an address which a user does not permit is a transmitter and a text of an e-mail includes an URL, a telephone number, or a character string of the e-mail address, filtering (deletion) of the e-mail prevents the user's portable telephone from receiving the unsolicited e-mail. Also, in the future, by distributing only when the transmitter's address is included in an address directory of the portable telephone by the portable telephone communicating mutually with a mail system before the e-mail distribution or only when a subject coincides with a reception permission keyword which the user has set, the unsolicited e-mails are prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
