PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method which continues providing significant ranking data.;SOLUTION: The information processing method includes; a ranking computing process in which, when result data which is generated in time sequence is fetched into a computer, ranking data which is ranked on the basis of the result data and a number of result data belonging to the same category and according to the result data is outputted; a ranking outputting process in which, when the result data is fetched, ranking result data in which relation between the result data and the newest ranking data are described is outputted; a ranking evaluation process in which the degree of dispersion of the ranking part being the object of evaluation of the newest ranking data is computed and also whether the degree of the dispersion is smaller than a reference value is judged; and a ranking dispersing process in which, when the degree of the dispersion is judge to be smaller than the reference value, the degree of the dispersion is made larger by eliminating old result data in which a prescribed time has elapsed since its generation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
