PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card passenger transport ticket and a passenger transport ticket examining system which prevent the unauthorized use of a card by an unauthorized person or the unauthorized use of a card by a person possessing the card and have a function for tracing a person who uses a card without authorization, and to provide an IC card passenger transport ticket which is low in cost and adaptable to a slot-in type and clerk-in-charge-operation type ticket issuing machines or the like while ensuring an information display function. PSOLUTION: An IC card 1 is provided with; a fingerprint reading means 15; a fingerprint collation means 14; an authorized person fingerprint memory 12; an unauthorized person fingerprint memory 13; an effective timer 16; a card status display means 17; a card status memory 18; a passenger transport ticket memory 19; and a passenger transport ticket display means 110. An intelligent ticket examining machine and a ticket-issuing terminal 2 each are provided with a card status/passenger transport ticket transmission means 22 and an unauthorized person fingerprint acquisition means 23, and consequently, an authorized fingerprint registration function, fingerprint authentication function, passenger transport ticket registration function and ticket examining function are realized to remarkably improve the prevention of unauthorized use and the tracability of a person who uses the card without authorization.
