FORECAST NOTIFICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THUNDER ACCIDENT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify clients of concrete data of the probability of the occurrence of an accident or the like more properly. PSOLUTION: Position data of thunder cloud and position data of lightening are acquired. At least one of the lightening and the thunder cloud of which the position data is obtained is correlated with power-transmission cables on the basis of the distances, and the data concerning at least one of the correlated lightening and thunder cloud, the data of correlated power-transmission cables and the data of distance between the lightening or thunder cloud and the power-transmission cables are contained. For every correlated power-transmission cable, a correction coefficient according to the correlated lightening and thunder cloud and the distance is specified out of a correction coefficient table. By using the correction coefficient, the probability of the occurrence of a thunder accident is calculated for every correlated power transmission cable. By referring to the data concerning the power transmission cable relating to a client, the data on the thunder accident is notified to the client when the power transmission cable relating to the client is specified by the above process.
