PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the content of a video image easily with high precision. PSOLUTION: The video image content recognition unit 302 recognizes the content of a video image represented by a series of continuous frame image strings. A similar video image shot extracting section 324 extracts a video image shot similar to a video image shot every time when it is divided.
