INK COMPOSITION FOR ERASABLE BALLPOINT PEN AND ERASABLE BALLPOINT PEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which is used for erasable ballpoint pens, ensures a sufficient drawn line density, has a sufficient erasing performance, reduces writing failures caused by drying up of the tip of the ballpoint pen, and has excellent writing performances, and to provide the erasable ballpoint pen.;SOLUTION: This ink composition which can be erased with an eraser, is used for ballpoint pens, and comprises at least a solvent, a colorant, and a thermoplastic elastomer is characterized by containing (1) gum arabic in an amount of 0.1 to 2 wt. % based on the total amount of the ink composition, (2) sodium polyphosphate in an amount of 0.2 to 5 wt. % based on the total amount of the ink composition, or (3) at least one of calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, zinc oxide, and zinc hydroxide in an amount of 0.2 to 10 wt. % based on the total amount of the ink composition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
