PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for utilizing the energy of noise or vibration effectively while converting into electric energy. PSOLUTION: A leaf spring 12 having an eigen frequency identical to a specified frequency included in noise is secured, on one end side thereof, to a base 11 and fixed, to the other end side thereof, with a vibration member 13. A coil 14 is fixed to the vibration member 13 and a magnetostatic field generator 15 generating a magnetostatic field H penetrating the coil 14 is arranged around the coil 14 of a generator 10. The base 11 of the generator is fixed, by means of a fixing member 18, to a sound insulating wall 1 installed in a machine room. The leaf spring 12 is resonated to the vibration of the sound insulating wall 1 and the coil 14 is vibrated with a large amplitude at that frequency in a magnetostatic field and an induced electromotive force is taken out from output terminals 17a and 17b connected with the opposite ends of the coil 14.
