PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet search engine system that provides user-friendliness by obtaining information to a terminal from a nearby Web site without requiring the input of the basic position information of a GPS or the like.;SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 1 sends keyword information and terminal characteristic information from a terminal characteristic information holding part 14 to a wireless base station 3. The wireless base station 3 automatically recognizes and/or converts wireless base station ID information and the received terminal characteristic information into geographical position information, and sends this information along with the keyword information to a Web search engine 2.
