PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material hardly causing aged deterioration in adhesion strength between aluminum foil and an inner layer caused by an electrolyte, reducing moisture permeation amount, having high moldability and high stability and to provide a battery case molded with the packing material, in the packing material used in an outer case of a lithium ion secondary battery and a battery case molded with the packing material. PSOLUTION: The packing material has an outer layer comprising a heat resistant resin film, the aluminum foil, and a thermoplastic resin film, and the aluminum foil and the inner layer are stuck with an adhesive composition containing polyolefin polyol and a polyfunctional isocyanate curing agent as an essential ingredient. The using amount of the polyfunctional isocyanate to the polyolefin polyol is preferably in a range of 1.0 to 10.0 in a molar ratio (NCO/OH) of an isocyanate group to a hydroxyl group.
