PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control system in which a pre-view processing can be quickly operated without largely losing faithfulness to print output data for a user who operates printing even when a data transferring speed is slow. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a computer for generating data to be outputted, data converter for developing the generated data into bit map data, and printer for printing the developed bit map data. In this case, a data transferring speed between the computer and the data converter is detected (a step S32), display bit map data to be displayed on a display in the computer are thinned out based on the value (a step S36), and transferred as display data to the computer (a step S37), and the data are developed again and displayed on the display. The display bit map data are thinned out corresponding to the data transferring speed so that the display data can be quickly transferred, and a pre-view processing can be executed.
