PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for deciding a heating point and a heating line in steel plate bending work by which the heating point and the heating line are decided without using a wooden pattern and which is useful for automatically deciding the heating point and the heating line. ;SOLUTION: When a circular arc in one section of a target shape is shown in a state approximated by a polygonal line N_o made of a bottom side of joint equilateral triangulars of (m) pieces in two dotted chain line and a circular arc of one section of a measured shape corresponding to this section is shown in a state approximated by a polygonal line N_c made of a bottom side of joint equilateral triangulars of (m) pieces in a solid line, when each side of a polygonal line based on the measured shape shown in the solid line is bent in Δθ(=θ_o-θ_c) to be coincided to each side of the polygonal line N based on a target shape, by using this, a heating point is geometrically decided based on a position coordinate of an end point of each side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
