PURPOSE: To realize a stable wavelength selective action together with downsizing of a device as a whole by eliminating a requirement of providing a mechanically operating part such as a rotary mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: The laser oscillation device includes a laser resonator to be composed of an incident side mirror 10 and an outgoing side mirror 12, a Ti: Al₂O₃ laser crystal 14 to be arranged inside the laser resonator affixed with a piezoelectric element 22, and allowing laser to be oscillated in a wavelength region of a prescribed area and acoustic waves to be inputted by the piezoelectric element 22, and a polarization plate 18 being arranged in the laser resonator and only transmitting an outgoing light having a prescribed polarization surface among the outgoing lights from a Ti: Al₂O₃ laser crystal 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
