PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for tuning a color easily and at a low cost, to provide, thereby, an electrooptical device substrate and a transflective electrooptical device which can maintain the brightness of a reflective display and the chroma of a transmissive display, and to reduce a difference in a perceived color between the reflective display and the transmissive display.;SOLUTION: A reflecting layer 211 provided with apertures 211a is formed on a substrate 201, and a color filter 212 provided with coloring layers 212r, 212g and 212b is formed thereon. The coloring layer have a hyperchromic portion 212c above the aperture 211a of the reflecting layer 211, and a hypochromic portion 212d on the reflecting layer 211.
