PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable oil composition having a radical-catching ability, and to provide a radical-catching agent containing the vegetable oil composition as an active ingredient, on the basis of finding that the process oil low in a refining degree obtained in a general vegetable oil-extracting and refining process has the radical-catching ability. SOLUTION: This vegetable oil components having the radical-catching ability comprises a low refining degree oil obtained by extracting and refining a vegetable oil originated from rapeseed, soybean, corn, olive, sesame, safflower or sunflower. The vegetable oil composition may be deodorized by a vacuum steam distillation method. The objective radical-catching agent contains the above vegetable oil composition.
