PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for attaching a clothesline which enable a resident in an apartment house etc. to easily attach a clothesline on an arbitrary position on a spandrel wall without requiring boring holes for anchor bolts on attaching and to easily deal with difference of thickness of spandrel walls.;SOLUTION: A slider 13 with latch mechanism 12 for fixing on a wall is slidably fit in a slide arm part 7 integrally equipped with a clothesline and used for adjusting width to the spandrel wall 11. The clothesline can be fixed on the wall by fastening adjusting knobs 8a, 8b on a jaw part 9 equipped on a position facing to the slider 13 for fixing on a wall.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
