1. The method of casting iron elements ensures their high resistance properties and high tribological properties in the as-cast condition. It is characterised in that the output cast-iron is smelted in 100 percent out of a steel scrap with a high silicon content (1.4 -2.0 percent of Si) and of a steel scrap with a high content of an electrolytic tin or other type of tin (0.04 - 0.1 percent), with an admixture of copper and silicone carbide, which ensures the following ratios in the ready cast-iron after spheroidisation and modification: the sum of carbon and silicon C plus Si = 6.4 - 7.2 percent; the ratio of coal to silicon C/Sn = 1.2; the sum of copper and tin Cu + Sn = 0.6 - 1.6 percent; the ratio of copper to tin Cu/Sn =10 - 15; while the amount of silicon carbide cannot be lower than 0.5 percent of the metallic charge mass.
