METHOD OF LIMITING THE AMOUNT AND HAZARD OF THE CODLING MOTH LASPEYRESIA POMONELLA L. (LEPIDOPTERA, TORTRICIDAE)

A method of limiting the amount and hazard of the codling moth Laspeyresia pomonella L. (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae) involves its monitoring, which is characterised by that along the perimeter of the apple-tree plantations at an area of a 1 ha garden quarter, from each of the four sides at a distance of 15-20 m from the outermost trees of the garden, two by two trees of late varieties of wall nut (Juglans regia) are planted, on the basis of no less than eight trees.
