DEVICE FOR MORPHOMETRIC STUDY OF CANAL OSTIUM IN MULTIROOTED TEETH

The device for the morphometric study of the canal ostium in the multirooted teeth comprises the base, the vertical stand with the working stage and the mechanism for its vertical displacement, the optic element, and its holder. The vertical stand is equipped with the additional mechanism for the vertical displacement of the holder of optic element. The opening for the tooth is made in the center of the stage. The radial threaded grooves between upper and lower parts of the stage are intended for three screw elements of tooth attachment. The fourth attachment element is thread-free. One of its ends is rigidly fastened in the groove, while the other one extends to the opening of the stage. The end-face of this part is rough. The rounded frame for attaching the transparent film is mounted in the upper part of the stage. The holder of the optic element is flexed. One end of the holder is connected with the vertical stand. The visual optic element is fastened to the opposite end of the holder.
