DISTRIBUTED MULTIMEDIA CONFERENCE SYSTEM BASED ON IP WEB

摘要

A distributed multimedia conference system based on IP network includes multimedia conference terminals, a multipoint control unit and gates characterizing that the said gates are divided into a junction gate and multiple user gates, each user gate is connected with its belonging multimedia conference terminals and the multipoint control unit, the junction gate is connected with and coordinates with each user gate to manage the entire system. Each of the multimedia conference terminal attending the meeting is connected with the multipoint control unit controlling the conference, having the control unit controlling the conference, having the control function only and the multipoint process function is separated from the multipoint control unit and realized at each multimedia conference terminal. This invention supports the multimedia conference function of image, phone and data to transmit the said signals to save network bandwidth by multicast.
